Einleitung

Ein bekanntes Problem von Spielecontrollern ist die Verschlechterung des internen Akkus. Ob es nun durch Zeit oder durch interne Schäden geschieht, es ist indiskutabel, dass ein schlechter Akku das Spieleerlebnis deutlich verschlechtern kann. Unsere Anleitung zielt darauf ab, dieses Problem mit einer umfassenden Lösung zu beheben. Unsere Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung wird Nutzer durch den Prozess des Akkutausches beim 8bitDo Ultimate C 2.4g Wireless Controller führen und sie mit dem Wissen versorgen, damit sie den Akkutausch selbst durchführen können.

    • Löse die vier Schrauben auf der Rückabdeckung des Controllers mit einem T6-Torx-Schraubendreher.

    • Führe einen Jimmy in eine Kante der unteren Haltegriffe des Controllers ein und folge mit ihm der Kante rund den Controller.

    • Es kann eine praktische Wahl sein, Plastikspatel statt Metallwerkzeuge zu verwenden. Metallwerkzeuge können sich verbiegen und zu kosmetischen Schäden führen.

    • Trenne vorsichtig die Vorderseite von der Rückseite des Controllers, um den Akku freizulegen.

    • Greife vorsichtig das weiße Plastikteil an der Vorderseite des Kabels, das mit dem Motherboard verbunden ist und stecke es aus.

    • Achte darauf, dass du nur jenes Kabel aussteckst, was den Akku mit dem Motherboard verbindet. Keine andern Kabel müssen für diese spezielle Reparatur ausgesteckt werden.

    • Baue den Akku aus.

    • Es gibt Kleber auf der Rückseite des Akkus, welcher eventuell Sorgen verursacht. Wie auch immer, das Entfernen des Akkus wird den Controller nicht beschädigen.

    • Gebe dehnbaren iFixit Kleber auf die Rückseite des Ersatzakkus und klebe den neuen Akku an die Stelle des alten.

    • Achte darauf, dass du das Kabel des neuen Akkus am Motherboard des Controllers einsteckst.

Where did you boght the battery replacement? I'm trying to find it on the internet but no clues yet

Did some digging based on the specs listed in the picture (3.7V, 480mAh) and it appears that 303454 is the standard name for said specs, although not the same shape and size as the one pictured as they appear to be using a custom form factor. That said, it looks like there should be enough spare room in the controller to make it work, but I can't verify it myself as I'm only shopping for the controller at the time of writing. I was able to find a 303454 battery with the connector on Amazon for about $5, so no soldering should be required, and it looks thin enough to be compatible. They also have other capacities if you want to upgrade to 950 or 2,000mAh while you're at it. Let me know if you're able to try it!
